Prerequisites
Successful completion of a Washington State Criminal Background Check and DSHS review is required prior to entry into clinical agencies. Immunization documentation must be on file in the Nursing Program Office to include: Hepatitis B immunization series started; 2 TB skin tests, Quantiferon, or x-ray findings negative for active TB within 1 year; and an annual flu immunization.
Successful completion of this Nursing Assistant Training Course qualifies a student to take the Washington State licensure exam for NA-C.
