ALSA 209 - Law/Ethics Substance Use Disorder Treatment


2 credits

This course will cover the appropriate interaction between Substance Use Disorder Professionals and consumers of substance use disorder (SUD). Ethical principles will be applied in a SUD Treatment context, and relevant WACs will be covered including WACs, HIPPA, and CFR42 part 2. Course meets the Washington State Department of Health (DOH) requirement for CDP Credential. The course meets the requirements for Washington State Department of Health; Substance Use Disorder Professional License. This course is specific to Drug and Alcohol addicted individuals and meets the requirement for content area WAC 246-811-030 (SectionW, R, & S).
