BA 258 - Principles of Management 5 credits
Prerequisites Eligible for ENGL& 101 or concurrent enrollment in ENGL 095 or ENGL 104
This course seeks to discover qualities of great managers by exploring management and leadership through individuals, teams and organizations. Researches effective and efficient leadership through planning, organizing, leading and controlling use of key resources of an organization. Discusses relevant concepts and application of strategic planning, conflict management, sustainability, and change management. Delves into current issues such as ethical behavior, social responsibility and diversity in the workplace.
Theory Hours 5 theory hours.

AA General Elective May be used as a general elective in the AA degree.
