Substance Use Disorder Certificate of Completion

The Substance Use Disorder Certificate of Completion is intended for a student who has already obtained an associate degree or higher in Human Services or a related field and is interested in becoming a Washington State Certified Substance Use Disorder Professional. The student will need to pass a background check when applying for their Substance Use Disorder Professional Trainee license. The required certificate coursework covers most of the content areas required for the substance use disorder professional credential issued by the Washington State Department of Health (see RCW246.811 Washington Administrative Code [WAC Chapter 246-811]).
