BA 230 - Social Media Marketing

Corequisites
Eligible for ENGL& 101  or concurrent enrollment in ENGL 095  or ENGL 104 .

This course provides an introduction to social media marketing.  Emphasis of applying social media into business strategy and using platforms to positively influence consumers toward a brand, product, or service.  Topics such as social networks, ads, and content creation.  Investigation of how goals, buyer personas, and other marketing principles apply to social media marketing.

Course Outcomes
Analyze current trends, emerging technologies, and future applications of social media and digital communications.

Employ communication skills effectively with intended audiences using social media and digital communications.

Practice social media solutions using current best practices.

Apply effective problem-solving techniques in social media and digital communications marketing.
