BAST 301 - Practicum I

Prerequisites
Admission to the BAST program.

The first practicum complements the first quarter in the BAST program. Students will study theories of learning and learning development, language and culture, and social and legal foundations of education. The practicum placements gives the student an opportunity to connect classroom concepts with field observations. The three BAST practicum courses will incorporate opportunities for students to reflect on the practicum experiences, including the implications for supporting English language learners.
