AUTO 285 - Advanced Automotive Brakes


4 credits

Prerequisites
Placement in MATH 060 ENGL 060 , and READ 090 .  AUTO 205  or co-enrollment.

This course is a study of brakes and brake control systems, including brake system hydraulics and hardware. The student will practice brake service procedures, brake performance, diagnostic, and troubleshooting methods. The second portion of this course includes the principles of Anti-Lock brake systems, their diagnosis and repair, as well as ADAS (Advanced Drive Assistance Systems).
