MATH& 151 - Calculus I


5 credits

Prerequisites
A grade of “C” or better in MATH& 142 

MATH& 151 is the first course of the standard calculus sequence. Content includes: limits, the derivative, differentiation of the elementary functions, implicit differentiation, related rates, analysis of extreme values and curvature of functions, and applied optimization. Applications are taken from the natural and social sciences, and engineering.

Satisfies quantitative skills requirement, science distribution area F requirement, or specified elective for the AA degree.
